Our babies arrived this morning!
What we ordered-
Layers-
8 Easter Eggers
2 Buff Orpingtons
16 "Fryer Special" mystery boys
4 "Adopt me" mystery
30 total
Sadly, we had 2 DOA. Down to 28. One was an EE, the other was one of the mystery chicks. I don't blame Meyer for that-the weather has been FREEEZINNGG, so we expected to have a loss or two. They were very helpful when I let them know.
The rest look very perky and started eating and drinking right away, now they're resting under the heatpad. Never used one before-only the heat lamp, but I already think I prefer it.
Now, down to the knitty gritty of trying to figure out what they heck we have
Pretty sure there's a couple Jersey Giants, and one of them kind of looks like a Lavender Orpington?
Will try to get more pictures, but this is what I was able to snap quickly.
