I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes each way to pick up some more females. They are from fellow BYCer Caprice Acres again. She and I had a lot of fun chasing them down! She was even nice enough to clip their wings before we boxed them up. One of the blue girls is for me to keep and the black, chocolate, lilac, and other blue are going to my BYC buddy along with my blue drake. I am so in love with the little lilac duck. She still peeps like a baby and she's so little.

I've only had drake ducklings and when they were that size they were barely feathered and gangly.

Here are my ducks checking out the new girls. My chocolate drake was so anxious to meet them he followed me into the kennel to touch each girl on the back.

Well I really only want a flock of 4 so I could've gotten more but decided against it. Although I was almost hoping she wouldn't have change and I'd have an excuse to buy one more!

She breeds for meat so all of the ducks and drakes that are kept for breeding get culled. She was glad to sell all these girls so she wouldn't have to eat them. So tomorrow night 4 of the new girls will be going home and my new blue duck will get to meet her new drake and 2 ducks.

They're so pretty!

. I miss having a scovy around. He had such personality.

Nice looking ducks! I was just wondering how much a muscovy hen is worth... what would one expect to pay for 2 all white female muscovy ducks that are 4 and a half months old?

Over here for two it would range from 25 to 40 depending on the quality.

very pretty duckies...I am completely smitten with my Muscovies...never had them before this batch and love them...they are friendly, come when I call them...always ready for a hand out! And they are just drop dead pretty, and come in so many colors!

Diana they are beautiful and been missing you too. I have a blue hen she is about 6 months now they are such pretty colors. I paid 7 each for my 3 new girls and over 7 years agoI paid 7 each for 3 solid white Muscovy hens. So price is still resonable around here.

I think it depends where you are and how many are available. I paid $15 per hen when I got the first two but when I went back to get more she gave me a deal because I was buying so many and I got them for $10 a piece.
