Well Hubby and I went to TSC Sat. morn to pick up some feed.Baaaaa they had to have 13 older mallard duckling's.Well before he had even decided he was really going to get them because they had gotten an oveload of mallards and they were $2.00 (they had ton's of small one's too)Weeeee I found box of bantam's left.Well We left with (another)13 duckling's and *another) lol 20 more bantam's.I think I got some frizzle's this times and a couple cochin's and some more duckwing's,some gold sebrights and maybe a couple OE's.Sadly We lost our lame silkie hen sometime Sat. night.She had been doing ok with the other's but I found her yesterday morn on sep. side off coop
.Poor Sadie she had done so well last couple month's.Then this morn I went to basement to water and feed the brooder chick's and one of Millie Fleur's had flown out and was dead on the floor.I Know it's concrete but it's still fairly warm down there and they are really feathering good now I dunno.Im so weary about putting the bantam's out, but my OE's did really good in coop with hay almost 2 month's ago and didn't lose any.My daughter buried Sadie and the chick today
poor babie's.Hopefully the rest will do fine all the new duck's are doing great.I put the last 6 mallard's I had in brooder in the horse stall,they seemed about same size as one's We got sat. with the other's and they have been doing good so far.What a brood of duckies Weeeeee AGAIN!I will post some pics up soon.Septic is messed up again Weee hubby gonna love it it in the morn at 4am when he gets up baaaaaa.
