More problems~ impacted crop?

Learning as I go here. Notice a bulge on chicken’s chest. Wow what could that be? Well it looks like it could be an impacted crop from what I have seen here. Another segregation when I get home. Can't see all the post right now on this topic. Please list successes with his issue. I will feel mass and take away food when I get home.

Before you do that, are you sure the crop is not just full from a day's worth of stuffing it?
If the crop is full in the evening and empty again the next morning then it sounds like things are as they should be.

I am going to keep her in cat carrier tonight and put water in for her. I want to see if it goes down in morning. If it is still therw what sould I do?

I've never dealt with impacted crop myself, but if you do a search here on BYC using the keywords 'impacted crop', you'll find lots of info.

I'm hoping you have a greedy bird and that your problem will pass, but if it doesn't here are some safe options.

Update on impacted Crop ~

I could not get the syring in her mouth. So I gave her Blended fresh Tomato with olive oil, and Massaged crop. It seamed to go down a little bit but not to " normal"? I am going to put her on soft food for a couple days , try oil and massage and see ahta happens. It feels hard? She is not lethargic and was all ovre the tomato. She is also only of the birds that I already had in quaritine from a new purchase and they are sick.

To get a hen to sip oil, place her on your lap and drizzle a few drops of oil on the curve of her beak, avoiding the nares. This will stimulate her 'sipping reflex' and she will accept the oil without fuss. Now, some will drip off, so put a rag or towel on your lap first.
