I posted a week ago about getting these babies from tractor supply and they were all supposed to be female leghorns one is obviously not that lol. Just wanted to post again bc I got some better pics… they are 3 weeks old

That's a broiler of some sort. Perhaps a Rainbow or Red Ranger :) Exact opposite of a Leghorn!
Oh boy.., the red Ranger pictures look exactly like it…. And it’s a rooster, right??

I guess my biggest issue is, can I keep it as a pet without having to kill and eat it? I just know nothing about meat chickens. I did read some breeds die young bc they just get to big too quickly and I’m hoping this isn’t one of them 🥺 my chickens are my pets and I have no problem keeping one that isnt gonna be an egg layer, but I don’t want it to suffer or anything.
