More Rottie pups, Katie and Cindy

I was sad, Rusty, because but for a couple of things, she is the nicest pup in the litter.

I am holding out for a great working home for her.

Y'know, I have a Dobbie girl who is now 9. She was never "hard" enough for schutzhund nor refined enough for the breed ring, but SHE doesn't know that. All she knows is how much we love her. She is a happy girl who greets me at the door with a grin, who teases me and plays games with me every single day. She's having a good life with people who love and appreciate her. Bottom line, THAT's what it's all about. As long as Cindy has someone who loves and appreciates her, she'll have a good life too.

After all, trophies don't give kisses!

then honestly Id hold on to her.

friend of mine bought (really cheap) a foundation appy colt as a yearling, solid, no pattern with a ugly red black brown coat. really nice colt conformation and brain wise. just was not the "pretty" app that people wanted. colt fuzzed out huge and fluffy over the winter. that spring Im helping her shed him out and all that funkey baby fuzz fell out and low and behold hes got to be close to 10 now pitch black with a huge white blanket. the white blanket was first and over the years the spots just seemed to fill in. apps should be born looking like an app and not shed out or fill in later. its not genetically normal for them to do what this little guy did, but hey now my friends got a lovely and now well trained horse that she picked up for next to nothing.
