More Taxes

The increases and additions of these other taxes are just "practice" for the "real" tax increase on those making below $250,000. The real tax increase will be the new Carbon Tax (Cap & Trade) which will cost each family $3,000 in electric a year or more. The measley $13 a check doesn't even begin to cover it!

Call your Congressional Representatives and tell them to vote no on the carbon tax because we cannot afford the increased cost of electricity, fuels and all products and services (which use energy)while we wait for someone to come up with a viable "green alternative" and everyone pays again to retool to this new green energy souce. I think because they do not pay their own bills (we pay them), our leaders just don't get it!

I will be quiet now because the rest of what I have to say is not nice!

I have to pay my taxes, I realize that 21 million illegal aliens are counting on me.

This is just the beginning, boys and girls. This is the calm before the hyper-inflation storm.

It simply isn't possible to borrow your way out of debt or to spend your way to prosperity. You know those guys hanging around street corners with cardboard signs? The ones who look like they might live in a cardboard box under a bridge? They tried it.

Now we're trying it on a national level. A government can't just print money without consequences. Ours has just dumped a couple trillion into the economy. The inevitable result of this will be a devalued dollar.

I have nine years to go on my mortgage. I was looking forward to paying it off and being out of debt. Now I'm going to refinance it to a thirty-year fixed rate and start all over again.

1. Mortgage rates are low.

2. There's a tax break for mortgage interest paid, and taxes are going no where but up as we foot the bill for the greed on Wall street and the deadbeats on Main street.

3. I'll pay it off in the future with dollars that are worth far less than they are now.

from those according to thier means to those according to their needs.
when taxes are implemented to change the behaviour of the citizens and the proceedes are used to buy loyalty we're in big trouble. soon, the eligible voting base will consist of a majority that relies on government for their existance. just how long do you figure that's gonna work ?

When the government not only dictates your rules but also your lifestyle, how much you can make, where you can work, how many you can hire. That is not socialism but communism. Ask any Russian that lived long enough to have experienced live in the USSR and see what they think of this. The ones I have talked think we are headed for a very scary path.

...just sitting and waiting patiently for more Americans to finally wake up and smell the coffee...

more gov't = more taxes...

It's always scary to me when one party controls both houses of congress and the White House. It seems to go against the " balances and checks " designed into our system of government. It always leads to trouble. Bush had the benefit of a republican controlled congress during his first term and look at the mess that made. It will be interesting to see what the democrats get up to now that they enjoy a majority.....
