Regarding that tax credit that we are seeing on our paychecks. The IRS has a calculator on it's website that will tell you if you are going to get stuck at the end of the year. If they take more than the credit over the course of the year the excess will count against you. If you have 2 jobs or both spouces work you probably need to adjust your deductions.

Why not cut the pay on those in congress, Rather than raise taxes.
Thats all they are doing to us ,by raising taxes.

I disagree with most of what is posted on this thread, and, I would like to point out, that the majority of the people in this country decide to vote for a democrat this time.
We are in this economy together (right and left) it did not start with this President, and I am sure it will not end with him. I find it very dishearting that the majority that has posted on this thread is willing to just sit and do nothing but hope for failure...
We can not afford to be so biased and we can not afford failure, no matter what party is top dog at the time.
We need to be proactive and write letters, peacefully protest against what we disagree with, do what we can to make this a strong country once more. Unfortunately, the only thing pionting fingers does is piss people off, it does NOT solve anything.
I know there are those who feel it that nothing they do matters, but it does, that is why we vote.
