More than one egg a day for a duck?

When the girls started laying I got one egg from one Welsh Harlequin, no egg from the other and one from the Cayuga. They took a short break of a week or so when the days got short, then the WH started laying again and sometimes it’s two or three. I suppose there is a world in which my second WH is laying now but the eggs are usually in the same spot (she’s built a little “nest” down between the house and the fence of the run) so I think they’re all coming from my ride-or-die duck Rebeccah.

All 4 of my ducks have been laying in the same nest for a few months now. Every once in a while I find an egg in a different nest. All very well hidden in the pine shavings of course

Most of mine when laying lay inside their house in their shavings but every once in a while like yesterday I found an egg outside along the fence where as many of you who have Runners know she was most likely running to keep up with her flock and the egg just fell out

I actually found somebody's 2nd egg that was dropped while I was putting them to bed. They are so cute.
