More tween duck behavior q's

Super interesting all the way around. So here is my scene for context:

I'll have both Bev and Winnie practically in my lap doing that preening thing with Peaches hanging back doing her solo thing. And then she comes over... she does the vibeate-y neck thing and charges into my lap (or into my forearm). Then she backs up like she's suddenly gotten ahold of her senses but she'll still stand in front of me kind of gauging my reaction. And THEN she shoves her bill into my hand so I'll rub her face. Which I do for a couple of minutes until she gets bored and walks away again.

And then the whole thing happens all over again like 5mins later.

You have a cuddly drake? I didn't think drakes were the cuddly type. Friendly, approachable but cuddly.... Didn't know that!

This is all so interesting ! My three girls do this vibrate thing too and curl neck sometimes. A few times one has shot up into my sleeve. They’re 4 months old right now and def coming into sexual maturity. The snuggles are a little harder to come by but I’m trying to patient and keep giving them lovies. Cause I’m obsessed with them
