I've seen these here in Tennessee. I had no clue they were edible. My kids squish them...........

Nothing yet, I'm checking every day. I think its too cold and dry yet. We need a good rain and some warmer nights and I should have them coming out my ears!!! I wont let DH cut grandma's grass till they are done so he is just an impatient for the shrooms as I am, just for different reasons

Went out on my lunch break today and didn't find any. I was hunting in a place I've never been and only had about 40 minutes, that could be part of it. I'm in Peoria, IL area.

Found 9 2" greys yesterday... We need some more rain here! Usually the small ones come up first then the big ones!

We moved to our property 2 years ago. I have found alot of cool mushrooms in my yard. We leave alot of the fallen timber down in the wooded part of the yard to encourage Fungi growth. Last summer, I found this Giant Skull Cap Mushroom growing in my grass, under an old cherry tree. Whatta monster. I am looking forward to see what comes up this year.

My hubby & I hunt Morels in the forest behind our house. I haven't been looking yet, but hubby has been checking the last few days, but none to report yet. Last year we had a bumper crop. Yummmmmy ~ delicious! I think they will pop out here soon. It's warmed up, but we might need some rain. I'll keep everyone posted on our findings.

Still nothing. I wouldnt have even known we had morels but my kids were using them as grenades last year... I'm checking every day to beat the chickens to them!
