I might start doing these to keep track of the changing seasons and other odds and ends where I live. Anyone else is welcome to join in as well :)

This was the coldest night we've had this fall. The first frost is getting close.
Low: mid 30s F
Dew: yes
Frost: no
Weather: partly cloudy, interesting formations this morning. These are some sort of Cirrus, so there may be a storm on its way.

Last night was warmer. Throughout yesterday the cirrus clouds spread to cover the whole sky in cirrostratus and cirrocumulus. By this morning, we were completely overcast. This blanket kept it from getting too cold overnight.

Yesterday evening clouds. I don't know enough meteorology to know what this means, but the formations are definitely strange and beautiful.

Low: high 40s
Dew: no
Frost: no
Weather: overcast with occasional light drizzles

Birds:
American robin (sighted and heard)
American crow (heard)
Chestnut backed chickadee (heard)
Dark eyed junco (heard)
House sparrow (heard, invasive)

I didn't spend as much time listening for birds as yesterday, and woke up later, so there's not as many on the list.
