Mort is my Bantam EE Hen, yes her name is Mort, the roosters name is Muffin (Long Story)
Mort tried to go broody a couple weeks ago but gave up after 2 days. I noticed her back on the nest
She bit the garbage out of me and was in full broody mode. I checked she had one egg, but Muffin has been sick and not
in with her for 3 weeks, so I grabbed 2 Sebright and 2 Silkie eggs and shoved under her. I candled tonight and the sebrights and silkies
are all growing, I am pretty sure Mort's egg is clear but it is green and hard to tell.
I think Mort will make a good Mama and it gives her something to do while Muffin is recouping.
I will try to post pictures tomorrow.
