4 of the Mosaics mixed with some brand new French Black Copper Marans.
I wonder if the markings on the top of the heads of the Mosaics are like Crested Cream Legbars and indicate their gender?! If so, I see two roosters and two hens.
The 5th Mosaic egg did hatch, I’m just letting it stay in the incubator a little longer.

5 new Mosiac Babies is very exciting!! Congrats on your hatch. Now to watch them grow.

After reading a thread on here about French Black Copper Marans, I’ve noticed that three of these Mosaics have yellow shanks and toes while the two others have grayish ones.
The last one hatched is struggling to survive at this point.

Another mosaic chick has died in the brooder, so I’m down to 3 now.
