How did you give her the water? unless it was properly tubed, chances are the chick aspirated.

Okay so I just got two mosaic pullets around three months old at a tractor supply chicken swap. I had never even heard of this breed I just got them because they were really pretty and 15 dollars so I thought why not. Can someone tell me about this breed and what it’s eggs look like and how well they lay and other general information about this breed. I’ll show pictures of them if any of you would like.

This is not a recognized breed, rather a personal breeding project that is a composite of other breeds. There is no official standard and no documented rate of lay for egg production. Hopefully some Mosaic owners can tell you how many eggs they get. Their egg color is tinted.
