Mosquitoes in the coop

Not sure how your coop is set up, but mosquitoes generally will not stay around if subjected to wind. That translates to placing a fan inside, and blow for some time. With the coop door open, they will exit and fly away. Then you need to see if you can eliminate their source of breeding. Usually containers with standing water will breed mosquitoes quite rapidly.

Flies, are easiest to control with Fly traps. I use these myself. This is available at Walmart, and many other stores.

I agree - fans keep the air moving, along with mosquitoes. We have fans running from sun up to sun down and do not have any in the run at all.

We've tried the fly traps - they fill up quickly and smell horrific so put them some distance from the coop. Fans actually help with fly management as well. Keep the coop and run as poop free as possible.
