Mosquitoes.

It's just come into Summer here in Australia and the mosquitoes(mozzies) are out in force will they feed of my chickens and cause pain/itching and or stress, will they harm them or put them of laying in any way???

They will feed on them but I don't think they itch.
I don't know anyway to prevent it other than keeping them locked up in screened buildings.
People in Florida, Louisiana and throughout the tropics raise chickens and they have lots of mosquitos all the time.

Oh O.K yeah i just wanted to know if i had to do something about it but i suppose people have way more mozzies than me, thanks again.
