I’ve seen way too many good Roos lay down their lives for their flock. They will put themselves in the line of danger for their girls, so they can have more time to get to safer grounds.I agree roosters dont protect from anything but themselves

I just can’t agree to that at all.
I mean, they are literally engineered to protect their flock, possessing genetics that produce high testosterone, having them grow bigger in size compared to females, by growing spurs… the list could go on and on but it’s late …
