"Buck" Barred Rock Rooster, about 9 months old at the time of this pic.

PEPPER, a black bantam cochin rooster. This picture was taken 2 years ago. He passed away this March 2011 at the age of 9 years old. I still get teary when I think of him. If a rooster can be a best friend, this was the one. He was my first rooster ever and, although there have been others....none surpassed his wonderful nature and the bond that I had with him. Rest in Peace Pep, you are missed every day.
