Oh my gosh they are very handsome birds! Do you know what kind they are or are they just mutts?
BTW I LOVE that picture of Mortimer, it really looks like he's about to take you out!
Thanks! They are all silkie/buff orpington crosses.
WOW! Really? I'd have never thought of that... They honestly look like some kind of fancy yet obscure European breed that I'd never be able to get my hands on!
If you don't mind my asking, what color silkie? Was the cock a S or BO?

Really! Wow, thanks again!
The dad was the buff orpington, and the mom was a white silkie.
My 3 boys... And, yes, quite a few of the shots are in my house, on the dining room table, my furniture, etc. They're very spoiled!!
Rocky, my li'l Bantam Cochin cockerel (almost a roo - lol)...
Marley, my Blue Splash Polish Cockerel (also almost a roo)...
Last, but not least, Jake...my Buff Orpington Rooster (lost his comb to hens at his 1st home)...
Yes, he thinks it is perfectly normal to be in the house...all my boys do for some odd reason! LOL! Notice the fully grown Silver-Laced Wyandotte beside him...he is HUGE!!
This is my female German Shorthaired Pointer Charlie (she's my 'daughter') in a stare off with Jake. Don't worry - Jake is VERY safe and never comes in contact with the dogs - this was a very temporary arrangement!! But seriously - look at how HUGE he is!! I had no idea rooster's could grow so big! LOL!
