No, not thinking of a purchase!!

I was just sitting here thinking of all the money I have spent on my whims, hobbies, loves..etc.

Such as:

I love dishes, glassware, serving pcs, cookware, baking pans, fancy footed cakeplates....I will never admit the total cost I have in my kitchen--For example: I have 5 complete sets of --20 place settings-- Christmas dishes --who in her right mind needs 5 sets of Christmas dishes....Well, really I have four sets of holiday dishes and one that is solid white with gold rim....... I have four sets of every day dishes (full sets), I have 20 or so sets (between 18 and 20 pc each) of dessert plates--some with chickens, some with honeybees, some with florals for each season, some are antiques, some are cheapos, some I use for birthdays, some I use for Easter...

I won't go on--You get the idea!!

that was a very thought about before purchased buy as hubby and i don't like to spend money like that on things that arent necc. but it really was necc...i need my lappy! LOL! My camera was $400 but it was a gift, hubbys xbox360 thing was a pretty penny too but i forget how much

Not including the biggies like our home, cars,..etc,... we have spent some $$$ on guns. We like to collect the older shotguns and such.
Then there is my chicken addiction,....

. LOL!

I once bought a goat for $800 and our most recent Great Pyr LGD was priced at $1700 which she's worth, but my wonderful friend traded with me for our male border collie so I lucked out

$1,000 for a pair of Australian Shepherds. I thought it was more than fair. The girl pup was used for showing/breeding and the male was a 3 yo finished champion. I loved those dogs.

Does adopting a child count?

That was pricey, but was reimbursed eventually through tax credits.

Other than that...furniture.

About $7000 on my camera... It still hurts, but man I love my camera...

A lot on furniture too, I would say all of our furniture in our house cost us close to $10,000-12,000ish... I have a nitch for dark woods, I can't help it!!!
