Well last hatch I had 16 pips before I had any even zip and this hatch I have one chick hatched on day 20 and no other pips. Funny how things work isn't it?
I've noticed on my last few hatches that it seems that one will pip and then the few around it will, almost like the hatch starts with one egg and spreads to the rest. Has anyone else noticed anything like this? Maybe the peeping of one wakes up the rest.
Jared~ yippy! I usually have pips on day 20, and hatch early day 21. But my last hatch had a couple orp eggs, and they hatched a full day after everything else. Lazy bums. lol

Kind of some of everything.....It's my spring test hatch. Some of my blue wyandottes, blue rocks, BLRWs, a few Speckled Sussex, and a few BBS orps. I put the first of the pure Wheaten Marans in yesterday so keep your fingers crossed for those.
