I know the bigger the avairy pen etc for phesants , the better for the birds.
But do different phesants require more space than others.

In what order would the following phesants be listed say from biggest pen down to smallest.
And can any of them live in same pen without any problems

Red Golden
Reeves
Lady Amherest
Yellow golden
Tragopans

Cheers Adriano

No None Of Them Can Live In The Same Pen--- This Is A Recipe For Bad Things--- Agression Will Lead To Lost Birds And Interbreeding Will Result

I agree on not putting different species together, I meant for size purposes depends on number if birds and cover available. Interbreeding of species has become a serious problem these days.

I GIT IT! AND I WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY CRAZED IF I CAME OUT AND FOUND MY REEVES PECKING A TRAGOPAN TO DEATH--- GAWD THERE'D BE NO DEALING WITH ME!!! AND YOU KNOW THATS WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TOO--- EXCEPT MY LUCK WOULD BE A COMMON RINGNECK KILLING THE MOST EXPENSIVE , RARE, AND SOUGHT AFTER BIRD I HAD.

BACK ON THE SUBJECT--- HOW MANY OF WHICH BREED AND MAYBE WE CAN GET YOU THE GOOD INFO YOU NEED!

Thanks guys. I have pairs of Reeves, Goldens etc.
And just wanted to be sure the pheasants that needed the most space were in the biggest pen etc..

Next questions

When a hen lays eggs during the mating season, has the cock to be taken away from the hen and eggs, or have the chicks to be taken away from both parents when hatched.

And finally do phesants require a totally covered section of a pen for winter.
I dont mean just the roof , but sides front etc like a dog kennel.
Or is the roof and back wall of the pen with a roost enough cover.

How often do phesants need to be wormed

Cheers
