Most unusual punishment your parents used?

This didn't happen to me but it did to one of my brother's classmates. She was about 16, went to a formal high school dance, came home drunk. She had vomit on her dress and she was a mess. Her daddy was furious. Her mother started to clean her up, but daddy said no. They got her to her room and dumped her on the bed. Daddy took pictures. A lot of them. Then he put them by her plate at the breakfast table. When she came down she got to look at pictures of her ruined gown, her smeared makeup, and her disheveled appearance. Cured her. She never pulled that stunt again. Ever.

I was a catholic school girl and my best friends father was the towns baptist preacher and to top it all off my dad was a cop. I didnt get away with much

Worst punishment ever was we came home drunk from a party and we werent very quiet (loud music in the car, slamming doors you get the pic) our fathers made us go around the whole neighborhood the next morning and knock on everyones door to apologize (mind you he was in uniform and her father was there too and we live in a small town). My kids couldnt get away with anything I told them dont even try I gave them the been there done that lecture, guess it worked because when the did do something wrong I caught them and they never pushed the limits because moma knew lol.

LOL LOL these ones made me laugh too! Sorry to be guffawing at people's punishments, but some of them are just too funny.

I remember having to stand by a closet door on tip toes with my nose on a spot dad put there. I was about 12 the last time I remember doing that.

Doing foster care also made me become very creative. The kids couldn't have they stuff taken away-they OWNED it. So I disconnected the plugs in their room so they still had light but could not use my electric. Amazing what a new attitude appeared.

I had a friend whose dad would make him kneel on rice (with shorts on) and stay there.
I swore it was a kind of abuse

and this is not the typical hug and love each other punishment for fighting either. my lil brother (RIP) had the WORST allergies. He had a snotty nose ALL the time and i think he used to purposely start fights with me just so we would have to do this and i would be tortured. lol
