I have a butternut squash from my garden that got a worm in it, it's a little "icky" from a human point of view, but it's not rotten, almost ripe insides but the rind is still a little bit green. It obviously has seeds in it. Is this OK to feed my chickens? Cut it in half and put the halves face-up in the coop? Will they eat the insides or the "shell", too? Should I take out the squash seeds? I think they should be able to digest them if they can digest corn...
