I do want to do some meat/dual purpose, I was thinking plymouth rocks and orpington mix - I got some PRs in the bator right now (not sure how many, they are from Shelley's dad's flock, many mixed, probably)

awesome! love to have ducks to but can't. only large fowl i got now is welsummers i sold out my buff brahmas and others. i got bantam barred rocks i set not long ago in the other gqf. those r all very good breeds and very nice layers u will not be disapointed.

what color guineas u got? i need to find a breeder to get some of those eggs for spring and perferably lavander if i can. haha, yep ur just like me that's what i said about my pigeons and they r growing on him,lol.

Guess I better dig out some lumber and get a chicken door made for that doghouse. It's probably gonna be heavier than the doghouse all together, it's cedar...Maybe I'll go to Lowes and pick up a 2x2 sheet of plywood instead.
