Mother hen suddenly a jerk

Background story: I got fifteen chicks of multiple breeds from Murray McMurray hatchery, and let my broody hen take care of them. She took to all of them very well, feeding, warming, and teaching them. Now, nine and a half weeks later, she's acting aggressive toward all of them, chasing them and occasionally pulling feathers. They've all been dominance fighting recently, and Fluffball really isn't helping matters. Last night she attacked anyone who tried to roost with her, so she spent the night in "The Box of Shame." For all I know, this is a normal phase in broody chickens. So, is it? And is there anything I can do to help them get along, or do I need to separate them?

It's natural. My girls always do that. The chicks are fine, it teaches them to be independent. I've never had a hen not do it.

She’s just telling them it’s time to go since they are of age in her eyes. Eventually they will leave her alone and become independent. It’s totally normal though so don’t worry!
