Has anyone ever heard of a "Mother Hen" Brooder?
My 'other Mother' told me her father would make his own brooder with a heat lamp and strips of flannel or some other cloth hanging down in a ring around the light. She said it helped with drafts. Any old-heads like me ever heard of one?
It sounded so cozy!
