Mottled Eggs??? Is there an issue

Hi Folks:

My chickens normally lay light to moderately brown eggs. Recently, one of my girls is laying eggs that have darker brown stops and marks on one end of the egg. In some cases the shell is rough in the same area where the marks are appearing. THe eggs seem fine, but I'm wondering what might be causing this and what I should do about it if anything. Thanks.

I would guess that she is getting older. It is a sign that the end is getting nearer.

Hi,my girls are laying eggs,that are two tone in colour!also some eggs are mottled, one of my girls has developed orange feet,can you give me some advice please! I'm very concerned! Thanks pat x
