can anyone tell me if houdans are cold hardy enough to have in new england?

Indeed. I think they originated in a very cold country.

they come from france, houdan area... but like any breed, buy locally so you know the strain's acclimitised to your area.

you guys gave me an idea. the current weather in houdan france is 40's in the day and 30's at night. we are currently 30's day and 20's night. wonder how cold it gets there at the worst.
