back in the summer i had bought these OE bantams as splashed but yesterday i was looking at there feathering and i noticed they had a black underlay in there feathering with longer white tips on there feathering but they dont look mottled could they be a new color like a splashed mottled because not all the feathers have the black underlay but most do? Someone help!

Maybe they were recently outcrossed and will not throw true for a few more generations. I would line breed and see what happens. I would say they are splashed.... but I always thought there was supposed to be some blue in splashed and these guys look all black and white.

They are mottled. They have more white than they should, but they are definately not splash.
