Yes, Mottled with too much white. The length of the spurs on the male would suggest he might be a bit older than 9 months.

I have a young OE roo coming up that is black & white, I hope he looks like that. He is adorable! I also have 1 OE pullet that is black with white spotting. Just the opposite of your hen.
