Hello!
I know that moult hurts
My rooster teetee and tootoo (2 year old) I see tons of mini feathers on neck area and other sides of his body
Tootoo doesn't seems irritated as teetee

Also , he's comb is little pale
Is it normal during moulting he's not naked lol
Just seems very angry mood swings
We are in Mid summers

I increase his B-complex and amino acids along with eggtra Protien from yesterday

Is it normal during moulting
Actually it's very normal.

Hormones are changed during this process and most birds will pale up a bit during that time.... in addition to the moody behavior.

It might not be normal to molt mid summer. And definitely odd to have two hit molt at the same time. Though pin feathers are a good hint that is what it is... Sometimes molt can be brought on by stress or nutrient deficit. Sounds like you've got it covered though.

Hurts might not be completely accurate.. more like uncomfortable and can be painful if handled incorrectly. :)

Agreed

Some chickens seem to cope better than others. A few of the hens here go weirder when they than usual when they moult. Thye pretty much stop eating the commercial feed and forage around for stuff instead. There is a bug they like when moulting but I haven't been able to find out what it's called. They also eat a lot more plant stuff.
A couple become really anti social and of course, rooster attention is definitely unwelcome.
