We have a gold laced wyandotte chicken around 3 years old. She's been of perfect health until last Sunday. A stoat tried to kill her - she survived but lost a lot of feathers. Since then nearly all her feathers have dropped out like she's gone into a sudden moult.

Also over the last two days she has started what appears to be soft crop. Her crop is remaining full and not emptying during the night. This is a big worry as she looks like she's losing weight very quickly and her health has obviously deteriorated due the moult. Has anyone any ideas on how to save Blaze? I feel like she survived the stoat and then die of the repercussions.

problem is she is eating a lot as she feels starving all the time - I don't think any food or water is entering her stomach - It's very quickly become quite desperate!
