Moulting Ducks

My Mallard ducks male and a female are molting and their pond is just dirty water. All summer and spring the pond was crystal clear with the filters Now filters don't even help every 5-7 days pond gets dirtier and dirtier. Any ideas ?

It may be necessary to check/clean the filters more frequently if they are getting clogged with feathers.

Thanks but its not feathers its just murky water. The filter material is clean and the spongey filter under the course filter is pretty clean. Just wondering it the ducks give off a lot of oils or fine dirt during moulting or something else.
