I have a RIR hen who went through moult a few months ago. She was scratched up pretty good by the rooster previously. Since she has gone through this, she has refeathered & is gorgeous. The only problem is she acts neurotic. She hides during the day under my mower. When she's rousted out, she sprints across the yard as if somethings after her. No predators around to do this. Any explanations???
