moulting

I have10 chickens and apparently they are in their first molt. I am puzzled how long this will go on. I am currently only getting 1 or 2 every other day. I used to get 8 to 9.everyday. Whats going on my birds don't look like their losing their feathers but I do find feathers all over my pen..

When a chicken molts, it will quit laying eggs, and then start laying after it molts(moults). This process can take anywhere from 21 days to 6 months.

thanks for the help. Hope this molt doesn't come to often! I really miss getting the eggs!!!
