Mouse or Keypad?

This conversation has ruined my brain and I've blanked on what I even call it, but I'm fairly certain you're all wrong and it's a touchpad

I like it but the keypad is better - maybe I'll keep it as backup

Why is it better? (If it's only better because other people say it's better, but you like using the mouse, then don't change. Don't change just because of other people. Be your own unique person.)

You're Australian right? Do you guys cal them touchpads or keypads? Because Kiwis and Aussies usually have the same name for things

I have used a keypad/touchpad my whole life and the mouse makes a CLICK every time I hit something - you jsut hav to tap the touchpad. Plus when you are watching a video and the mouse moves TINILY the little red thing at the bottom pops up. Andd it is hard to sue sitting on an armchair

Touchpad... Ok, now it's starting to make sense. That's what I call it but couldn't think of the word.

Americans: Trackpad
Aussies: Touchpad
Kiwis: Keypad

At lest we all agree on the 'pad' thing

It's touchpad for me and I live in Maine, USA.

Makes sense then. My old laptop had buttons to click on the bottom of the touchpad which clicked. (I do miss those on my new one because it was less likely to hit the wrong side.)

it's annoying when you accidentally click th right side of the mouse instead of the left too
