That's newer than any of my Macs.

I noticed the Apple trackpads (at least on my collection) are a bit hard to push at times. My much newer Windows laptop has a trackpad that doesn't require as much force to push and it's much better.

Americans: Trackpad
Aussies: Touchpad
Kiwis: Keypad

At lest we all agree on the 'pad' thing

I looked it up. I can't find anything on anyone calling it a "keypad". From what I know trackpad and touchpad are used interchangeably over here.

I think of security doors when I think of keypads.

Yah, that's what I think of too. That or the numpad some keyboards have.

If you didn't click the notif for it the thread won't show up in your notifs again until you read to the end (or skip to the last page).

I found that disabling reaction notifications helped a ton with not losing a thread.

I've been using the laptop that's replacing my Mom's ThinkPad and I don't like the trackpad. It doesn't have click throughout the whole trackpad, and the buttons for clicking don't feel great. Otherwise it's a great device.
