Move In Day At The Chicken Coop

I've been working on our coop for about 2 months. I plan on creating a page on the site but for now you can go to http://www.yearofplenty.org/chicken-coop/ to see the process from beginning to end. I started with a Google Sketchup and when I figure out how to upload and share that I will.

One question. I think I may have made the door too small to get in the coop. Anyone have any insight on the proper size for the door?

from PA! Really nice coop you have there! I made my pop door 14"x16", I'm sure you can go smaller. How big is yours? How many chickens do you have? Where are you located?

Nice coop! Just goes to show me how I should have done more research here for design ideas before launching into my project... I like how there's a human-sized door to let you into the run, and a side access door to get into the roost area. Plus, everything is covered and fenced in! Well done.
