I had 2 Broodies Co-Sitting on eggs in the big Cochin Coop. We sectioned off a part of the run and built a small coop. Last night (Day 18) we moved the older Barred Hen, she was the most commited to sitting, the younger Partridge Hen would routinely get off the nest daily for a couple hours at a time.
I went back out later to check and the Barred Hen had flown out of the Broody Pen, so I stuck the Partridge Hen in, she went right to the nest and settled on the eggs.
Crossing fingers and hoping all goes well.
