See the mods do what I do at my place, if I see someone coming up the drive way - everything goes into the spare room (read: MOD room!) my guests don't have access or the authority to poking around in there.

Wow... that is such an amazingly perfect analogy!

We do discuss which ones to leave in and which to remove. Do we leave it "public" so people can learn or do we remove the trash from the otherwise really clean room?

If the thread has good info we'll often clean it up and put it back into distribution. Some are just too messy to clean up and better just removed.
