I Moved my 20 week old Rooster in with younger 7 weeks old Roos.
These 7 were packing peanuts raising to butcher and in my RIR pen are my 8 laying hens and had two roos kept one for back up except the dominate one fault with the other roo all time..so the other roo stayed up on roost and would not come down..did come down yesterday by my hubby putting him down and there was war..so took him out and put with the younger ones little picking at first but great now and the roo was starving he ate good and they are all getting along. Guess he is just happy to not be beat up although there is no female in there to mate..
