Today is Day 18, and I did my final candling. I was much more strict with discards and it looks like a lot stopped growing last couple days since the previous candling, so unfortunately a lot of the eggs didn't make it into lockdown . Only 9 were developed enough, with one extra (A4) that was put in the incubator later as a staggered hatch that I have doubts is going to develop but I wanted to give it a chance anyway. If your egg has a red X next to it, it's been removed because it stopped developing...Sorry to disappoint.

:/ I'm sorry, I was disappointed by the losses too. The whole bunch seemed to be going so strong, I thought I was going to have a lot more make it to lockdown. These eggs are not from my flock, I got them from someone locally, so I have no real idea what their typical hatch rates from their flock are.
