Moved the chicks out of the house to their new coop.

Great coop! REALLY NICE.

Will you be up all night worrying about them, their first night? I was, no matter how secure I knew they were...... and I am that way every time I put new chicks outside.

To be honest I was so tired I slept through a thunderstorm last night but I did look in on them right before dark. My wife was a little worried about them and was up at daylight to check on them.

earnhardtlvr--They haven't ventured up onto the chair yet, but I am sure they will.

theoldchick--That was a priority of the design. I dug ditches around the run and have a pressure treated 2x8, 1"square welded wire with cement blocks on top of it under ground. and used 1/2X 1 welded wire to keep out birds and snakes. While I was building it a black bear tried unsucessfully to get in my other coop.
