Moving adult chickens, can I do it without catching all of them?

Well actually, the stick on the ground will move a fair size flock in broad daylight. If you want to move them in the daylight. I was just offering another suggestion.

I have used your approach to herd my pullets to the run/coop when they are staying out past their curfew. And it does work... mostly, except when it doesn't. But, I can't imagine getting them all to willingly go into a new to them coop. It's just not in their nature to readily accept change.
