Moving................. AHHHHHHHHHH

So I have a total of 3 weeks to 1. Build a chicken coop and move 40 chickens, 2. Finish off a horse fence and move 2 horses, 3. Finish off a goat pen and move 4 pygmy's, 3. Put up a dog run for a husky, 4. build a pen for a pbp, 5. Move all of my stuff, SO other stuff, and our 4 month old daughters stuff, and start a new job monday at 2:3o in the morning

No wait! This is when you call your friends and relatives, buy them some pizza and beer and have them over to help! My friends will do anything for pizza and beer! haha

I feel ya......... after 14 years of living here a new City neighbor moved in and complained about my animals. Come to find out we were not AR like we were told but AR1, meaning only 2 livestock animals per acre- 1 chicken = 1 livestock animal. Well I had to move 300 chickens, 40 peafowl, turkey, flocks of geese, swans, aviary of pheasants, aviary of pigeons, 5 emu, 3 llamas, 2 mini cows, 5 mini horses, a mini Jack, 3 big horses, 2 dogs ( our 2 others are here ) move all there pens, build all new pens for others, run hotwire, set up shelters, etc. etc all over to a good friends house....most while my husband was out of town.

all the while fixing up this house getting ready to sell and running over there to the other place to feed up. Still in the process as other things have happened that made our move go to a stand still for now.

It Sucks..... I did however find out how many animals I can cram in a 2 horse slant load trailer.....

OHHH MY !!! and I thought I had it bad!! wow!!! mine feels like it should be a walk in the park compared to that

My family has done a lot of helping.... it's still alot of work

We just did the same thing. We had lived in our home for 13 yrs. It was a tough move but well worth it. I feel for you!!

Got Horses and goats moved and settled last night, last day of work today before new job monday. Crated all but 11 of my chickens last night when they were all sleeping. Have to try and catch the rest when I get home and then get them moved.......
