So i want to move my pure lavender orps to a new pen but that means that they will have a new rooster and i was wondering if i want fertile eggs in the spring should i move them now or wait until a later time

I don't know enough about your set-up or current conditions to know why one way would be better than the other. Do you have any specific concerns? How old are they? What is the situation now, are they with another rooster? Do they have plenty of room in both pens?

Spring is getting closer. If you want to be sure the eggs are fertilized by the new rooster the hens need to be separated from an old rooster for a month. I assume they are hens and not baby chicks? That's the only reason I can come up with to move them now. But I don't know enough about what you have to know if there are any red flags to moving them now.

The reason i want to move them is because i want them to tale to the new rooster cause i need to get rid of the old one

Then go for it, assuming they are all adults. If some are still immature, well how old are they?

To me about the easiest integration there is is introducing a mature rooster to mature hens. He wows them with his magnificence, mates a couple to claim the flock as his, and life is good. There can be exceptions, there always can be when dealing with living animals, but usually it is pretty easy. If some of them are immature it's a different story. So, how old are they?
