So I live in Salem, OR. Currently I have two week old chicks in a brooder inside my home. They seem to have feathered wings. In my area the temperature usually ranges from high 80s to high 90s during the day and somewhere along the 60s during the night. I was wondering if it was possible for me to move my chicks outside during the day and bring them back in during the night? The coop and the run are a good size. Thank you in advance for any help!!

I'd move them out now and leave them out. Just put a brooder plate in there for night time and they should do great.
The issue with that is there is no electricity near the coop. So I wouldn't be able to provide them with heat. Would they be fine at night or should I still bring them in? The coop is insulated yet well ventilated by the way.

Then give them a huddle box. With these temperatures in their age they should do just fine.

Do you have a picture of a huddle box? Im sorry I don't quite understand what it is.
I don't. But all it is is a box that is large enough to fit all of the chicks on a thick layer of bedding. The box is placed on its side with the top flap hanging down and the side flaps open so their body heat is somewhat trapped.

Oh ok I see. I actually turned my old birdhouse into a chicken coop. I had a 8x12 nest in there that is closed except for a hole on one side. I could fill it with wood shavings.

Huh? Got pics?

They need more than a single hole, for access and ventilation.

You could just bring them in at night for another week....maybe introduce the huddle box in the brooder so it's familiar when they go outside with it.

I’ve attached a pic of the old bird house. I already cleaned it out and took out all the nests. I just need to build the chicken run and nesting boxes. The huddle box would be an old bird nest box that is wooden. It has a three inch hole on one side as an entrance. My idea would be to put wood shavings in there as a huddle box for warmth.
