I moved my chicks out to the temporary coop yesterday afternoon. I was really stressed about this. They are about 5.5 weeks old but look much bigger than that to me. They have outgrown 3 brooders and I have nothing bigger to put them in short of dividing them up. It seems like as soon as I put them in something bigger they outgrow it within a week! I hooked the heat lamp up in it because the nights are still a little cool. I wasn't this stressed when my first went off to college. I hope they can deal with this one until the big coop is done. Why is it taking me so long to get this done?! Geez! LOL
